The Atlas Werkscan
Where is time being lost, and what's worth improving?
After a day on site, you don't need a lengthy technical report. You need to know which repeated tasks are taking too much time and what can realistically be done about them.
The Atlas Werkscan is a paid review, taking about two weeks, depending on what we build for you. Together we map an agreed part of your workflow. We then discuss which improvements make sense and which are best left alone.
What you know up front
- We agree on scope and price before starting.
- The review takes about two weeks, depending on what we build for you.
- You receive a written overview of the key friction points and potential next steps, and we go through it together in a closing conversation.
- There is no obligation to commission a build afterwards.
- It isn't an online questionnaire. We start with a conversation.
How the Werkscan works
-
01
Understand the work
We look at how an enquiry, job or administrative task is handled and who is involved.
-
02
Find unnecessary steps
Where is information copied, searched for, entered twice or repeatedly checked?
-
03
Weigh up the options
We assess whether a process change, an existing setting, an integration, automation or a bespoke tool might make a worthwhile difference.
-
04
Make the next steps clear
You receive a written overview: the friction points we found, the options available and what we would tackle first. In a closing conversation we go through it together. We discuss priorities, uncertainties and whether further work is worthwhile.
What does it ask of you?
The Werkscan takes little of your time, but it does need some of your attention.
- Kick-off conversation: you explain how enquiries, jobs and admin are handled now, and who is involved.
- Looking over your shoulder: we look together at how things work in practice, for example when handling an enquiry or quote. This can be on site, at the office or online.
- Sharing a few examples: such as an enquiry, a quote or a job sheet. They don't need to look tidy.
- Closing conversation: we go through the written overview together and discuss what you can do with it.
Who is it for?
For trade businesses where the work itself is going well but scheduling, communication or admin take up too much attention. Also suitable if you already use several apps and don't know where to start.
Not every problem needs software. If a different working arrangement is the best solution, we'll say so.
We'll use that conversation to decide whether a Werkscan is needed and what it should cover.
